None of those skins (should) use webparser or download anything when loading, so going the task scheduler route may get you the results you’re looking for.so i use two widgets on my desktop. calendar and notes. from two different skins.

ive checked the box to load at windows during installation. but yet it still delays.
i'll try the task scheduler and early start and explore this further.
in the meantime, u guys mind looking into these two links and see if problem roots from there?
I actually did it after I recommended it to you and I did notice a difference on loading time.
By the way, you have to set the task for when logging in, not on system boot.
